Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges.
Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
- Vaccination certificates
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA)
suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you of
these fees or alternatively they are attached to our Non-NHS Letter Pack. The fees are as follows:
Certificates and Forms
- Doctors signature – £30.00
- Private sick note – £30.00
- General letter – £30 minimum POA
- Camp America forms – £50.00
- Letter to support PIP or ESA appeal – £30 minimum POA
- Gun Licence signature – £30.00
- Any other private letter or report not included above – POA
Medical Examinations
- HGV Drivers Medical – £100.00
- Taxi / LGV / PSV Medical – £100.00
- Foster Medical – £150.00
- Sports medicals (excluding diving) – £100.00
Travel Abroad
- Travel cancellation documents – £50 minimum POA
- Print out of medical summary/medication list for travel – FREE
- Vaccination summary – FREE
These fees will be reviewed on a yearly basis.
If you require a Non NHS letter or completion of a form from a GP you will
need to complete a Letter Pack and return to the surgery with a £10
