Travel Services

If you wish to travel abroad, you may need advice about vaccinations, or malaria or other information related to disease prevention while you are away.

Advice about travel requirements is constantly changing, so it is not a simple process for us to find this information out immediately for you, with certainty it is accurate and current.

Complete the form, and either email it back or drop it into the surgery. Please allow a week before making an appointment with the nurse. Please state when you are booking that it is for travel clinic services. Make sure you book a separate appointment for each member of the family that is travelling.

Fees for travel and other vaccinations

For vaccinations not available or eligible on the NHS:

Meningitis £45

Hepatitis B £47 per dose.
An initial course of 3 vaccinations is usually required, total cost £120 in advance, otherwise each dose will be charged separately. For rapid cover, a 4 dose course is used, total cost £156.50 in advance, otherwise each dose will be charged separately.

Rabies £65 per dose. A course of 3 vaccinations is usually required, total cost £195. Booster dose £65.

Yellow Fever £70. This includes the International Certificate of Vaccination, stamped and signed.
